This is particularly true for window replacements in staged retrofits, which often face barriers in planning, logistics, and execution. The Component Award 2026 invited stakeholders to rethink how Passive House windows can be integrated into existing building façades with minimal disruption, high energy performance, and smart prefabrication strategies, whether the insulation or window replacement comes first. The iPHA webinar will feature short presentations from the award-winning manufacturers as well as the experts from the Passive House Institute’s component department. There will also be time to ask the panel your questions at the end of the webinar.

After the presentation, there will be a time for a Q&A with the speaker.
