iPHA webinar: Calculating heat losses through the ground
Join us for our next iPHA webinar!
Heat flows through the floor slab or basement ceiling behaves differently than that through other exterior components. In this session, we take a deep dive into the technical background of how to calculate heat losses through the ground. Jürgen Schnieders explains the principles behind the Ground worksheet in the PHPP. He also touches on how to calculate thermal bridges in contact with the ground. Finally, the possibilities and limitations of perimeter insulation are examined, including rarely seen monitoring results.
After the presentation, there will be a time for a Q&A with the speaker.
