Be­come a Pass­ive House Train­er!

Pass­ive House Train­ers are in­struct­ors for de­sign­er or trades­per­son courses or for the ad­di­tion­al courses. They are part of the course pro­vider team or are course pro­viders them­selves. To become a course provider and thus be able to offer the examinations of the Passive House Institute (PHI), a contract is concluded with the PHI. More information about this process can be found on our website.

Instructors of Passivhe House course can show their training expertise with the trainer add-on certificate (as an add-on to their Passive House designer/consultant seal).
Pre­re­quis­ites for the ac­quis­i­tion of the trainer add-on certificate are:
• A val­id de­sign­er/con­sult­ant cer­ti­fic­ate
• Com­ple­tion of the "train the train­er" course (offered by PHI)
• Ex­per­i­en­ce in the field of fur­ther edu­ca­tion / train­ing / lec­tures
• Pro­found know­ledge and ex­per­i­en­ce (cer­ti­fied pro­jects) re­gard­ing Pass­ive Houses, build­ing phys­ics and build­ing sites
• iPHA mem­ber­ship
• Con­clu­sion of a agree­ment with Passive House Institute

Course Dates of the train-the trainer course:
12 - 13 May and 16 - 17 May 2022

Cancellation Terms
Course can be cancelled free of charge up to two weeks before the course starts. In case of later cancellation, a fee of 50% of the course fee will be charged.
Cancellation or termination after the start of the course can not be considered. The same applies in the event of non-appearance without prior cancellation.
Cancellation of the course by the Passive House Institute: Should the course be cancelled for an important reason (e.g. illness of the course instructor or insufficient number of participants), the course fee will be refunded in full. Other possible costs incurred cannot be reimbursed.
